Community Initiatives

In addition to its headquarters in Tokyo, DBJ operates 10 branches throughout Japan, enabling it to conduct activities that are closely linked with local communities. We operate offices in eight other locations as well, allowing speedy responses to local communities' needs.

1.Local Community-Building Diagnoses

DBJ carries out local community-building diagnoses to apply its expertise to the construction of regional societies. This process is conducted using data previously disclosed by the community-building diagnosis team and other sources to conduct analysis of accessible local communities. Based on this process, field data is supplemented by diagnoses through original analysis, with explanations provided for the results.

2. Coalitions with Regional Financial Institutions

DBJ has formed cooperative business agreements with more than 100 regional financial institutions in order to contribute to regional economic development and financial soundness. Specifically, we are supporting endeavors by regional banks, tier second-tier regional banks, shinkin banks and other types of banking institutions.
