Membership of Long-term Infrastructure Investors Association

 At the Long-term Infrastructure Investor Association’s first annual meeting, held successfully in Paris on October 17, 2014, founding member Development Bank of Japan Inc. (Toru Hashimoto, President & CEO) became the first financial institution from Japan to join the LTIIA.

 The LTIIA was established as a collaborative platform for cooperation among public financial institutions and leading private long-term investors in infrastructure. With more than twenty institutions, including DBJ, from all over the world supporting, LTIIA works for the sharing and promotion of best practices within the infrastructure industry by supporting the creation of benchmarks for the infrastructure asset class, enhancing research and analysis of infrastructure investment related topics, and providing infrastructure investment information to policy-makers.

 DBJ wishes to further develop the alliance with fellow founders Allianz Global Investors, Meridiam Infrastructure and Skandia Mutual Life Insurance Company as well as Caisse des Depots et Consignations and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and other LTIIA members to vitalize long-term infrastructure investment under the global financial network.
