Fiscal 2017 Bond Issuance Policy and Plan

Our capital plan for fiscal 2017 involves issuing corporate bonds worth an estimated ¥2.60trillion (initially an estimated ¥2.32trillion). Fundraising plans are in place to raise that amount.

The plan will include approximately ¥530 billion (initially ¥500 billion) in Fiscal Investment and Loan Program (FILP) bonds. We have also secured the necessary amounts from the Fiscal Loan Fund and government-guaranteed bonds, both of which are essential to ensuring a stable supply of funds.

The following is a breakdown of the amounts to be issued for each bond category.

(Updated on December 25, 2017)

Japanese Government-guaranteed Bonds ¥150 billion
Japanese Government-guaranteed International Bonds ¥200 billion
Corporate Bonds (Including Euro MTN) ¥530 billion
Total ¥880 billion
