DBJ released DBJ Group Human Rights Policy and to Participate in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)

Development Bank of Japan Inc. ("DBJ") has established and released DBJ Group Human Rights Policy.

In this policy, DBJ respects the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and understands and respects human rights, at a minimum, expressed in the "International Bill of Human Rights," and the principles on fundamental rights set out in the "ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. Based on this policy, DBJ will pursue and promote initiatives to respect human rights for its executives, employees, customers and suppliers. This policy also applies to all DBJ Group companies, and all executives and employees will strive to respect human rights based on this policy.

DBJ has also signed the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).

UNGC is the world's largest sustainability initiative, launched at the initiative of then UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, and aims to build a healthy global society by voluntarily adhering to and implementing the 10 Principles on Human Rights, Labor, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

Through its signature and participation in UNGC, DBJ directs the 10 Principles advocated, and continues to work to reflect these principles in our business strategy, corporate culture, and daily operations.
