Support for Innovation

DBJ, in cooperation with the Japan Economic Research Institute (JERI) , a pioneering think tank in the DBJ Group, is establishing the Innovation Center. The center will serve as a team of experts that will support the creation of new business models concomitant to economic and social value from the perspective of open innovation. The center will provide support concerning projects’ planning, proof-of-concept, and operation stages through opportunities for dialogue and creation. One of the center’s initiatives, the Innovation Hub (iHub), brings together not only experts but also numerous volunteers, including interested parties from the corporate sector and government, all for whom the following concepts resonate: using new business development and programs aimed at innovation enlightenment (e.g., a value creation management study group) to train innovative personnel and using open innovation to develop business solutions to social issues.
