Sustainability management

DBJ aims to further push forward with contribution to the achievement of a sustainable society, which is promoted in the Policy on Sustainability. In fiscal 2017, the Sustainability Committee (chaired by the president) was set up as a deliberating committee under the Executive Committee. As a liaison for this committee, the Sustainability Management Office was established directly under the Corporate Planning & Coordination Department. DBJ grasps key social issues taking into account environmental, social, and governance aspects and incorporates them and other perspectives into its business activities, including financing, investment, and asset management.
