Tatsumi Kagaku Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture), is a manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals. The company has a lineup of around 200 different generics, mainly for digestive and circulatory ailments.
As a company engaged in the diffusion of generics in Japan, Tatsumi Kagaku is aiming to boost its production capacity, through measures including constructing a plant building on the site of its Matto No. 1 Plant (Hakusan, Ishikawa Prefecture). Furthermore, the company is pouring its energy into establishing a business continuity system to build a stable supply system, as well as a wide range of health management related measures, including managing the health of its employees, which are its assets, so that they can work at the company for a long time.
In accordance with its BCM Rated Loan Program and its Employees' Health Management Rated Loan Program, DBJ provided financing to Tatsumi Kagaku based on the evaluation of the company's progressive measures related to business continuity and health management. In addition, Japan Economic Research Institute Inc. (JERI), a DBJ Group think tank, is providing consulting services to Tatsumi Kagaku.
