Fraudulent activities by unknown persons impersonating Development Bank of Japan / DBJ Group Employees

A number of reports have reached Development Bank of Japan in recent months of incidents involving a person or persons unknown impersonating its employees.
Some impersonators claim to be Development Bank of Japan’s employees and deceive someone by use of forged documents (e-mail, website, etc.) into remitting money in the form of refundable fees with online banking account and other costs.
However, Development Bank of Japan does not provide online banking service. These incidents have no connection to Development Bank of Japan and we kindly ask the public, our customers and our business partners to beware of the actions of this person or persons unknown.
